Mazda Motor Ireland is proud to announce an exciting partnership with Mondello Park Motor Racing School, situated at Ireland's only International race circuit.
The Mazda3 is renowned as one of the most responsive and sharpest handling cars in its class. This dynamic chassis will now provide the platform for a fleet of ten race-prepared Mazda3 vehicles set to offer you the ultimate race driving challenge!
And once you have mastered the track in Mazda3 you will advance to take the wheel of a Zoom-Zoom Formula SR Single Seater race car.
Three levels of courses are available at Mondello Park Motor Racing School:
The Start Line Course
- 4 laps with in-car tuition, followed by 6 laps in a race-prepared Mazda3
- 2 formation laps behind a pace car to acclimatize you
to driving a racing car
- 10 timed laps in the single-seater
- Presentation of certificate and computerized lap times
The Home Straight Course
Suitable for first-time race school participants and those who have already completed a Start Line course and wish to take their skills to a more advanced level.
- 4 laps with in-car tuition, followed by 8 laps in a race-prepared Mazda3
- 2 formation laps behind a pace car to acclimatize you to driving a racing car
- 15 timed laps in the single-seater
- Presentation of certificate and computerized lap times
The Chequered Flag Course
- 32 laps of the Mondello Park National Circuit
- Advanced classroom instruction
- Intensive one-to-one tuition with instructor driving prior to taking the wheel of a race prepared Mazda3
- Two runs in single seater with progress discussion with instructor
- Extensive debrief, including information on competing in motorsport.
All courses come with an extensive safety briefing and tuition from professional racing instructors.
Situated in Donore, Co. Kildare, the school is 5 miles from Naas and 25 miles from Dublin, with easy access from the M7 Motorway.
