The Mazda Digital Service Record system

Outstanding cars - outstanding service

Mazda is the first car maker to replace the traditional service record book with a digital version. The result will make a real difference in after sales service to our customers. Whether you own a new Mazda or are planning to buy a used one, the new Mazda Digital Service Record will be the only place you need to look for secure, accurate and permanent service history information, for the entire life of the vehicle.

Advanced technology to protect your investment

The Mazda Digital Service Record is an advanced service history system for certain Mazda vehicles. Each vehicle's service history data will be stored digitally on a central Mazda database. After a visit to a repairer, an updated record will be printed, recording all service items carried out and making the stamping of a paper book a thing of the past. An up-to-date Digital Service Record, following all recommended servicing and body inspection intervals, helps to enhance your vehicle's value and protect your investment.

Increased security against fraud

Service history forgery is a growing problem. A few ticks here, a signature and stamp there, and you have a counterfeit document. Used cars whose odometers have been tampered with are often sold with these forged papers. However in future, spotting a odometer which has been tampered with will be far easier, as the centrally stored service history cannot be forged.

Just the beginning

The Digital Service Record system is being rolled out with the launch of selected new models, starting with the Mazda5. But Mazda won't stop there. The DSR system is just one element of our promise to deliver outstanding service for outstanding cars.
