We've made noise suppression a real priority. The cabin is a quiet haven of piano-black panels, chrome-plating and natural light; it's an ideal place to appreciate the Premium Sound System. As a standard feature on the Executive SE, Sport and Z-Sport models, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system even lets you set separate temperatures for the driver and the passenger, making the new Mazda6 one of the most comfortable cars in its class.
We've improved the driver ergonomics, the plush driver's seat gives you the optimum driving position and everything is within easy reach. The decorative parts on the centre console now have a high-quality piano-black coating. Items that are frequently touched have been chrome-plated, such as the climate-control and audio dials, the shift lever and the inside door handles. By making the instruments easier to see and use, we've improved the interface between human and machine.
Interior storage and luggage
Depending on the grade you choose, you will find different storage options as a stowage place for smaller items, including a large glove box and a stowage box with a new compartment in the front centre console and built-in cup holders front and back.
Saloon
We know that luggage capacity is important in everyday life. That's why the new Mazda6 saloon has a substantial boot capacity of 519 litres.
Hatchback
The hatchback has being designed with you in mind. The wide luggage-area opening makes loading and unloading easier than ever. The luggage-floor width sets the standard for others in the sector to follow. The car's wheel housings don't intrude into the luggage area and the luggage-area floor is completely flat.
With just a quick tug on the handles on either side of load compartment, each side of the 'Karakuri' rear seatback folds down flat, leaving you with luggage space of up to 1702 litres.
Estate
Whether you take regular family holidays, have a passion for sports or want a stylish good-sized company car, the Mazda6 estate will answer your every request. A byword for practicality, the new Mazda6 Estate offers up to 1751 litres of usable luggage space.
