Connacht vs. Toulouse

To celebrate Connacht’s first game in the Heineken Cup we at Mazda Ireland wanted to showcase the event and go some way to highlight the atmosphere in and around Galway City on this great night. Galway was a sea of green and the atmosphere that night was electric. The fans turned out in their thousands to be a part of this historic night, 8671 if someone was counting. The odds were stacked against Connacht facing into a match against the mighty Toulouse; the 4 time champions and elite of European Rugby. The Connacht team led out onto the pitch by their captain and full back Gavin Duffy took to the pitch full of vigour and passion, however the game was a stretch too far for Connacht. Connacht did themselves proud and stood up and were counted, echoing Connacht’s motto “Front Up, Rise Up”. Here is a short video story of the night.....”
